From April 10 to 12, the 15th Guangdong Modern Agricultural Expo (hereinafter referred to as the "Expo") was grandly held at the Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center in Dongguan. Following the "three exhibitions in one" model, the Expo was held simultaneously with the 10th China International Food and Ingredients Expo and the 4th China International Prepared Food Industry Expo, with the theme of "Building Agriculture into a Modern Large-scale Industry".
With a total exhibition area of over 50,000 square meters, the Expo attracted 1,671 high-quality agricultural and food enterprises from 23 countries and regions around the world and 31 provinces across China, showcasing more than 3,000 kinds of famous, special, high-quality and new agricultural products and geographical indication products. During the 3-day event, it received a total of 45,000 merchants and visitors, with an intended purchase volume exceeding 10 billion yuan, achieving a win-win situation of brand display and economic and trade transactions.
Featured with "Guangdong-style" brands, intelligent agriculture and precise production and marketing docking, the Expo fully displayed the latest achievements of Guangdong's modern agricultural modernization, industrialization and internationalization. It not only built an important bridge for supply-demand docking and Sino-foreign exchanges, but also injected strong momentum into the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas and the high-quality development of agriculture in Guangdong.
